How to Make Steamed Brown Bread


  1. Mix all ingredients together well.
  2. Pour into 6 well greased cans (use clean vegetable cans, all same size), 1/3-1/2 full. Cover with 3 layers of wax paper - secure with rubber band. Place in roaster, add water 1/3 way up cans. Cover. Steam 3 hours at 350 degrees.
