Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour (sifted & measured
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon each ginger, cloves, nutmeg
- 3 - eggs
- 1 cup canola oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 can (15 1/4 oz.) can pineapple and juice
- 2 cups chopped ripe firm bananas
- 1 cup walnuts (chopped)
How To Make southern banana pineapple bread

Step 1Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.

Step 2In a small bowl beat eggs until foamy.

Step 3Add oil, vanilla, and blend. Pour oil and vanilla mixture into dry ingredients.

Step 4Stir with a mixing spoon, do not use electric mixer, until moistened.

Step 5Stir in pineapple and nuts, then stir in bananas - mix well but do not beat.

Step 6Spoon into well greased 10 inch tube pan or can also be baked in 2 loaf pans.

Step 7Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake tube pan 1 hour and 20 minutes or small loaf pans, check in 35 minutes.

Step 8Frost with cream cheese icing if you like. Good plain!
