- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup sour cream
How To Make sour cream coffee cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350, grease a 9x9 inch pan. In med. bowl whisk together flour, baking powder and cinnamon. In large bowl cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, approximately 3-4 minutes.

Step 2Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed. Add in the flour mixture. Add in the sour cream and mix well. Pour half of the cake batter into the pan and with offset spatula spread to cover the bottom of pan.

Step 3For Streusel: 1/ 1/3 C flour 3/4 C. brown sugar 1 T. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 3/4 C. butter Mix all together and sprinkle half of the stresel evenly over cake batter. Cover with remaining batter and then sprinkle again with remaining streusel evenly over cake batter.

Step 4Bake for 30-35 minutes until lightly browned. Cool completely before slicing.
