I got this recipe years ago from a neighbor/friend. Delicious and my family requests it everytime I go home for a visit.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 boxes jiffy corn muffin mix
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3 - eggs
- 1 stick butter, melted
How To Make skillet corn bread

Step 1Melt butter in a cast iron skillet on 350 degrees. In large bowl mix jiffy and sugar together. Add milk and eggs, on e at a time and stir well. Add melted butter, stir and return to skillet. Bake 35 minutes or until a nice golden brown and set in the middle. Brush a little butter over the top while still hot. Cool slightly and cut into squares. if you don't have a cast iron skillet a stone baking pan works well also.
