In 2009 my husband & I were guests at a lovely B&B in Skaneateles, NY.
Sandy, the owner of "The Lady Of The Lake Bed & Breakfast" sold us her cookbook.
This is just one of many recipes that I have made my own from that cookbook.

1/2 c
veg. oil
1 c
peeled, chopped apple
1/2 tsp
baking soda & baking powder
2 c
flour & 2 eggs

How to Make Ro's Apple Bread


  • 1combine flour, soda, & powder. Combine oil, sugar, eggs & 1/2 tsp. vanilla.
  • 2add the flour mixture, 1/2 tsp.cinnamon & 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts. Mix well.
  • 3Pour into either a greased & floured 9x5" loaf pan or 3 mini loaf pans. Bake for 1 hour (Lg pan) or 40 min. for small pans. Enjoy w/ apple butter & jam of your choice!
