- 1 package active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water(105* to 115*)
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 21/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons butter,melted
- 1 teaspoon ground cinamon
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 1 cup powderd sugar,sifted
- 2 tablespoons water

Step 1Dissolve yeast in warm water.Add sugar,salt,butter,egg,and 1 cup flour;beat well.Gradually sir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.Turn out onto a lightly floured surface;knead 5 minutes.Roll into an 18-x-9-inch rectangle

Step 2Brush dough with melted butter;sprinkle with 1/3 cups sugar,cinnamon,and raisins.Roll dough with melted butter;sprinkle with 1/3 cups sugar,cinnamon,and raisins.Roll dough up jellyroll fashion,beginning at long side;moisten edges with water to seal.Cut roll into 11/2-inch slices;place slices cut side down in a lightly greased 8-inch round cakepan.Cover;let rise in a warm place(85*),free from drafts,1 hour or until doubled in bulk.

Step 3Bake at 375*F.for 30 to 35 minutes.Combine powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons water,mixing well.Drizzle glaze over warm rolls.
