Ingredients

  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm water(105* to 115*)
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 21/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter,melted
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinamon
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 1 cup powderd sugar,sifted
  • 2 tablespoons water

How To Make raisin cinnamon rolls

  • Step 1
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.Add sugar,salt,butter,egg,and 1 cup flour;beat well.Gradually sir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.Turn out onto a lightly floured surface;knead 5 minutes.Roll into an 18-x-9-inch rectangle
  • Step 2
    Brush dough with melted butter;sprinkle with 1/3 cups sugar,cinnamon,and raisins.Roll dough with melted butter;sprinkle with 1/3 cups sugar,cinnamon,and raisins.Roll dough up jellyroll fashion,beginning at long side;moisten edges with water to seal.Cut roll into 11/2-inch slices;place slices cut side down in a lightly greased 8-inch round cakepan.Cover;let rise in a warm place(85*),free from drafts,1 hour or until doubled in bulk.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 375*F.for 30 to 35 minutes.Combine powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons water,mixing well.Drizzle glaze over warm rolls.
