pumpkin tea bread from friend j. crabtree
This has been in my recipe box for 67 yrs and I make this at least a couple times a year. My friend Jackie gave me this recipe when we were young Navy wives, and I've shared it with my kids and friends. Warning, this will go fast it's so delicious! The autumn is the perfect time for making this and you can use fresh pumpkin if you want to prepare it, I've done that and it's extra good IMHO. My card is so faded and almost destroyed I figured I'd best put it online. Enjoy!
