My kids are bread nuts and they happen to love pumpkin.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 8 oz packages cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 4 - eggs
  • 15 oz - canned pumpkin pie mix
  • 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk

How To Make pumpkin cheese bread

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Mix sugar, softened cream cheese and margarine at medium speed with electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in pumpkin.
  • Step 3
    Add combined dry ingredients, mixing just until moistened. Fold in the nuts. Pour into two greased 9x5 inch loaf pans. Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cool 5 minutes; remove from pans.
  • Step 4
    Glaze with combined powdered sugar and milk.
