pumpkin cheese bread

This is similar to my banana bread recipe as it is from my FAVORITE cookbook! I usually make the small loaves because I can either freeze them or share them at work. This is a very moist bread and always gets raves. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

8 slices/per loaf- 2 loaves
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 8 ounces softened cream cheese
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 4 - eggs
- 15 ounces canned pumpkin
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/4 teaspoons pumpkin spice
- 1 cup nuts(opt)
How To Make pumpkin cheese bread

Step 1Combine sugar, softened cream cheese , and margarine, mixing til blended.

Step 2Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Step 3Blend in pumpkin

Step 4Add combined dry ingredients, mixing till moist.

Step 5Fold in nuts.

Step 6Pour into 2 -9x5 loaf pans OR 6 small greased loaf pans.

Step 7Bake at 350 for 50 min (large loaves) or 40 min for small loaves. Test with toothpick.

Step 8Let cool about 10 min.
