Ingredients

  • 3 c
    flour
  • 1 Tbsp
    pumpkin pie spice plus
  • 2 tsp
    pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 3 c
    sugar
  • 1 can(s)
    (15 oz.) pumpkin
  • 4
    large eggs
  • 1 c
    oil
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 c
    grated carrot
  • 1 c
    raisins or craisins or nuts

How to Make Pumpkin Carrot Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda and salt in large bowl.
  2. Combine sugar, pumpkin, eggs, oil and water in large miximg bowl; beat just until blended.
  3. Add pumpkin mixture to flour mixture; stir just until moistened.
  4. Fold in carrot and raisins or nuts.
  5. Spoon batter into 2 greased and floured 9 X 5 inch loaf pans.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-65 minutes. Cool.
