Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c
    splenda or stevia
  • 1/2 c
    light butter
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 c
    pumpkin
  • 1/3 c
    water
  • 1 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    soda
  • 3/4 tsp
    light salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    cloves
  • 1/2 tsp
    pumkin pie spice
  • 1/2 c
    chopped walnuts

How to Make Pumpkin Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs. Add pumpkin and water, mix well. Add all the spices to the dry ingredients. Mix to moisten. Don't over beat, fold in nuts.
  2. Pour in greased loaf pan 2/3 full. Bake at 350F for one hour for large loaf. test with toothpick.
