Ingredients
- 1-1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup pumpkin, canned
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1-3/4 cup flour, sifted
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 - eggs
How To Make pumpkin bread

Step 1Combine cheese, butter and sugar in mixing bowl. Cream together well Beat in eggs, one at a time until blended. Mix in pumpkin. In another bowl, combine dry ingredients. Stir until thoroughly mixed. Pour all at once over batter. Stir just enough to moisten.

Step 2Spoon into greased 9 X 5 inch loaf pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 60 to 70 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in pan. Remove to rack to finish cooling.
