This is my mom's famous pumpkin bread... She serves this with cream cheese icing... absolutely the best pumpkin bread I have ever had and I love pumpkin and have tried lots... rich flavor and oh so yummy.... ( I don't sift the dry ingredients I wisk them in a bowl but my mom sifts and this is her recipe, I think whisking is fine and I haven't had a problem with this technique LOL, much,much, easier)Out of this world... thanks mom :)

Ingredients
- 3 1/3 cups sifted flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon each, nutmeg,ginger,allspice,cloves
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 3 cups sugar
- 4 - eggs
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 - can pumpkin (small can 15 oz)
- 1 cup oil
How To Make pumpkin bread

Step 1Sift together dry ingredients. Mix wet ingredients together add all at once to dry ingredients mixing well but not overmixing.

Step 2Put into 2 sprayed and floured loaf pans and bake at 350 for 1 hour checking after about 50 minutes and inserting a toothpick into center of loaves. If comes out clean remove from oven. (each oven is different & you don't want to burn this)
