My family loves this pumkin bread got it from a friend Barb

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup liquid crisco
  • 4 - eggs
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 cups canned pumkin (reg. pumkin not mix)

How To Make pumkin bread

  • Step 1
    Sift together first six ingredients recommend 2 times, bread rises more.Set aside
  • Step 2
    mix crisco,eggs,water,pumkin together and mix together with the first six ingredients.
  • Step 3
    mix well pour into 3 well greased & floured loaf pans . My daughter makes them and puts them in small pans too they turn out nice to .
  • Step 4
    Bake an hr at 350 this time may vary with the size of pan.
  • Step 5
    Wrap in clear plastic wrap while they are warm , they can also be frozen. They usually dont last long around here though.
