Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 3 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    liquid crisco
  • 4
    eggs
  • 2/3 c
    water
  • 2 c
    canned pumkin (reg. pumkin not mix)

How to Make Pumkin Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. Sift together first six ingredients recommend 2 times, bread rises more.Set aside
  2. mix crisco,eggs,water,pumkin together and mix together with the first six ingredients.
  3. mix well pour into 3 well greased & floured loaf pans . My daughter makes them and puts them in small pans too they turn out nice to .
  4. Bake an hr at 350 this time may vary with the size of pan.
  5. Wrap in clear plastic wrap while they are warm , they can also be frozen. They usually dont last long around here though.
