- 3 cups flour
- 2 1/4 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 tablespoons poppy seeds
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 1/8 cups vegetable oil
- 3 - eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract
- 1 1/2 teaspoons butter extract
- GLAZE
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon each vanilla, almond, & butter extracts

Step 1PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES. MIX FIRST 11 INGREDIENTS TOGETHER IN MIXER FOR 2 MIN. POUR INTO 2 GREASED BREAD LOAF PANS.

Step 2BAKE FOR 1 HOUR UNTIL GOLDEN AND TOOTHPICK COMES OUT CLEAN. COOL 10 MIN. REMOVE FROM PANS. POUR WARM GLAZE OVER

Step 3MIX LAST 3 INGREDIENTS IN A SEPARATE BOWL AND STIR WITH A FORK. LET STAND 5 MIN. POUR OVER WARM BREAD. BE SURE TO COAT ALL SIDES OF BREAD. THIS IS A GREAT ONE TO DO SEVERAL DAYS BEFORE SERVING. IN 25 YEARS WE'VE NEVER HAD A CHRISTMAS MORNING WITHOUT THIS!
