Ingredients
- BREAD
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 2 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons poppy seeds
- 1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 3 - eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract
- 1 1/2 teaspoons butter extract
- GLAZE
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup orange juice
How To Make almond poppy seed bread

Step 1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2Combine the first five ingredients. Add eggs, milk, oil and extracts. Pour into two greased loaf pans. Bake for 60-65 min. Cool completely in pans. Loosen the loaves if necessary to make removal after glaze is applied easier.

Step 3In a saucepan, bring glaze ingredients to a boil. Pour over loaves in their pans. Cool for 5 minutes. Remove loaves from pans and cool completely on wire racks. Place cookie sheet under racks to catch any drips.
