This bread is so good. My Mother made this for holidays and a "special treat".

1-3/4 c
sifted flour
2 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
1/4 tsp
1/2 c
3/4 c
chopped walnuts
3/4 c
3 Tbsp
1 can(s)
(8oz) can crushed pineapple, not drained

How to Make Pineapple Nut Bread


  • 1Put raisins in bowl. Cover with boiling water to plump. Drain water and throw away.
  • 2Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Blend in pineapple.
  • 3Sift in dry ingredients and mix well.
  • 4Add raisins and nuts. Place in greased bread pan and top with topping. (2 tbsp sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon, mixed). Bake 350 degrees 60 to 70 minutes.
