Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup persimmon pulp
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice, ground
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup nuts, chopped

How To Make persimmon pudding bread

  • Step 1
    Combine milk, pulp, vanilla and sugar.
  • Step 2
    Sift together dry ingredients and stir into wet mixture. Fold in nuts and raisins.
  • Step 3
    Pour into a greased 9x5" loaf pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1-1 1/2 hours.
