Ingredients
- 1 cup persimmon pulp
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 - egg
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup candied orange peel
- 1 cup chopped nuts
How To Make persimmon bread

Step 1Combine pulp, sugar, egg, & oil; blend well.

Step 2Dust raisins with some of the flour. Sift remaining flour flour with baking powder, soda, & salt; add to creamed mixture

Step 3Add raisins, vanilla, orange peel, & nuts.

Step 4Bake in a 9"x5" loaf pan for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350.
