persimmon pulp
1 c
brown sugar

2 Tbsp
oil
2 1/4 c
flour
1 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
salt
1/2 c
raisins
1 tsp
vanilla
1/4 c
candied orange peel
1 c
chopped nuts

How to Make Persimmon Bread

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine pulp, sugar, egg, & oil; blend well.
  • 2Dust raisins with some of the flour. Sift remaining flour flour with baking powder, soda, & salt; add to creamed mixture
  • 3Add raisins, vanilla, orange peel, & nuts.
  • 4Bake in a 9"x5" loaf pan for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350.
