Ingredients
- 1 package ( 36 count ) rhodes dinner rolls ( thawed)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans, (optional)
How To Make pecan monkey bread
-
Step 1Gather ingredients. Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Spray a 13 x 9 baking pan with cooking spray.
-
Step 2Mix sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl. Cut the rolls into 1/4 pieces and coat each piece in the sugar/cinnamon mix.
-
Step 3Lay the coated rolls into a greased 13 x 19 baking dish. Sprinkle with pecans.
-
Step 4In a medium saucepan over medium heat; melt the butter. **I added them both together...it worked fine.
-
Step 5Once melted, pour in the cup of brown sugar and stir constantly. When the butter and sugar have combined (about 2 minutes), pour this mixture over the rolls in the pan.
-
Step 6Bake for 30 minutes. You may want to place some foil or a pan underneath, on the bottom rack as these come close to boiling over.
-
Step 7Enjoy!
