Peanut Butter Stuffed French Toast

1 lbstrawberries, fresh, hulled & sliced
5 Tbspsugar, divided
1/4 cskim milk
1 1/2 tspvanilla extract
1/2 cpeant butter
8 slicewhite bread
1 - 2 Tbspbutter, unsalted
How to Make Peanut Butter Stuffed French Toast
- Frist toss the strawberries with 3 Tbsp sugar. Whisk together eggs & remamining 2 Tbsp sugar, milk & vanilla. Than spread peanut butter on 4 slices of bread & top with remaining slices.
- Next in a large frying pan heat 1 Tbsp of butter over medium-high heat. Than dip both sides of the sanwiches into the mixutre & place in the hot frying pan.
- Than cook until under side is agolden brown in color. About 2 mins than flip over & cook til golden brown again.
- Best served warm topped with extra strawberries & dusted with the powder sugar.
