peanut butter bread with banana chips
I gave myself a Blue Ribbon for this Peanut Butter Bread. It is so good with honey butter cream cheese spread...Give this recipe a try.

Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup light brown sugar,packed
- 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 large egg
- 3/4 cup thick buttermilk
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup finely crushed banana chips
- CREAM CHEESE HONEY BUTTER
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons honey more of less to taste
- 2 tablespoons soft butter
- - combine and beat ingredients together until smooth and fluffy.
How To Make peanut butter bread with banana chips

Step 1Preheat oven to 350^. Spray one 8x4-inch loaf pan the place a piece of waxed paper on the bottom only and spray it too. Set pan aside.

Step 2Using your mixer cream together the sugar and peanut butter.Add 1/2 the buttermilk. Mix until well blended. To the remaining butter add the sour cream and the egg, whisk until blended.Set aside.

Step 3Add 1 cup of the flour to the batter. to the remaining flour mix the baking powder, soda and salt. Add this alternately with the remaining buttermilk mixture;beginning and ending with the flour. Beating well until smooth, be sure to scrape sides and bottom of bowl. Remove bowl from mixer and stir in crushed banana chips.

Step 4Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 55 minutes to 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Turn off oven and leave bread in oven for 3 minutes, remove to wire rack to cool for 5 minutes. Remove bread from pan,and take waxed paper off the bottom. Cool completely on wire rack. Butter top, sides and ends, for soft edges for slicing.

Step 5Just out of the oven. NOTE: You can use 1 or 2 teaspoons of banana extract in place of the banana chips and add 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts. OR: you can use crunchy peanut butter and banana extract.
