peanut butter bread
Oh goodness gracious, peanut butter. Just when I thought the Strawberry bread (yes, I posted it) was good, my taste buds sang over this recipe. This is also incredibly good, and so different from the typical breads that you will be happy to add this one to your recipe collection!

Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup peanut butter (use a good brand like jiff or skippy, not a store brand)
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 - egg
How To Make peanut butter bread

Step 1Combine flour, soda and salt. Blend sugar into peanut butter, stir in egg and beat until smooth. Add flour mixture alternately with buttermilk, beating until smooth after each addition. Turn into buttered 4x8x2 1/2 inch loaf pan. Bake for one hour at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and brush crust with melted butter if desired.
