Ingredients
- TOAST:
- 1 - loaf french bread, sliced
- 6 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cups half and half
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- TOPPING:
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
How To Make overnight french toast

Step 1For the toast: Arrange bread in a lightly greased 13x9 inch baking dish and set aside.

Step 2Beat remaining ingredients together; pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Step 3The next morning, combine topping ingredients and spread over bread.

Step 4Bake for 45-55 minutes at 350 degrees. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
