This freezes very well when wrapped in aluminum foil....if you ever have any leftover!! Also makes a nice hostess or "just because" gift.

makes 3 lg or 6 small loaves
Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
- 3 - eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons almond flavoring
- 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
How To Make orange dessert bread

Step 1Mix all ingredients. Beat 2 minutes at med. speed. Pour into 3 loaf pans, sprayed with no-stick spray.

Step 2Bake 45-60 minutes at 350 degrees or 6 small loaf pans at 30-40 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.

Step 3Glaze while hot with: 3/4 cup sugar; 1/4 cup orange juice; 2 Tablespoons butter; 1 teaspoon vanilla; 1 tsp. almond flavoring
