I LOVE PANERA BREAD'S ORANGE SCONES. I ADAPTED THIS RECIPE FROM A RECIPE I SAW ON COOKS.COM. I AM ADDING CRANBERRIES TO IT, BUT YOU DEFINITELY DON'T HAVE TOO.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups bisquick
  • 1/2 cup orange marmalade
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange rind
  • 1/2 cup cran-raisins
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1 - egg, beaten
  • ICING
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange rind

How To Make orange-cranberry scones

  • Step 1
    MIX BISQUICK, MARMALADE, CRAN-RAISINS, SPICES, 2 EGGS AND JUICE UNTIL MOIST. TURN DOUGH ONTO FLOURED BOARD; SPRINKLE WITH FLOUR.
  • Step 2
    ROLL INTO A 9 INCH SQUARE. CUT INTO 12 SQUARES USING A FLOURED KNIFE. BRUSH WITH BEATEN EGG. BAKE AT 400F FOR 12-14 MINUTES.
  • Step 3
    ICING: COMBINE POWDERED SUGAR, OJ AND ORANGE RIND. MIX AND ICE WARM SCONES.
