    vegetable oil
  • 1 c
  • 2 c
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 3/4 c

How to Make Oma's Banana Nut Bread


  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Beat eggs until fluffy. Add oil, sugar and bananas beating until fluffy. In another bowl mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Blend flour mixture into banana mixture until flour is moistened. Do not over mix. Stir in nuts.
  3. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes. Remove from pan. Finish cooling on rack
