nutritious breakfast bread
I have adopted this recipe, and I will be making it soon. We have a bake sale coming up... and I am sure this home made goodie, will sell!

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2/3 cup nonfat dry milk powder
- 1/3 cup oatmeal, uncooked
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped peanuts
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/3 cup prunes, pitted, chopped
- 3 - eggs
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 1 cup mashed bananas

Step 1Preheat oven to 325.

Step 2Combine flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, milk, oats, sugar, nuts, raisins and prunes in large bowl.

Step 3Blend with fork.

Step 4Beat eggs until foamy.

Step 5Add oil, molasses, juice and bananas.

Step 6Add mix to dry ingredients.

Step 7Pour into 2 8x4 greased loaf pans.

Step 8Bake at 325 for one hour (for muffins, grease tins and fill 2/3 full, bake 350 for 20 minutes).

Step 9Cool slightly before removing from pan.

Step 10You may substitute raw chopped apples, grated carrots, applesauce or grated zucchini for bananas.
