Ingredients

  • 2 2/3 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1 can(s)
    15oz solid packed pumpkin
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground cloves
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 c
    coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 3 1/2 c
    all purpose flour

How to Make Nut Pumpkin Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the sugar, pumpkin, oil, eggs, and vanilla until well blended.
  2. Combine the flour, cinnamon, salt, baking soda and cloves; gradually beat into pumpkin mixture until blended. Fold in walnuts.
  3. Transfer to 2 greased 9"x5"3" loaf pans. Bake at 350* for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks.
