My mother got this recipe off of her disc of 1,000,000 Recipes and she and I are both Diabetics and have been for years. I hope you enjoy this recipe My youngest daughter loves it and she is not diabetic.

- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup splenda
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 1/4 cups flour all purpose
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups mashed bananas
How To Make no sugar added banana bread

Step 1Cream shortening and splenda and add eggs one at a time. Stir in Baking Soda into buttermilk and add to mixture. Add Bananas to flour, salt and baking powder. Mix well and add in nuts Optional. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans and bake at 375 for 1 hour.
