I love pumpkin bread along with a nice hot cup of tea. I have tweaked this recipe to perfection. It's great on a cold winter day, and a hit at bake sales. I hope everyone enjoys!

Ingredients
- 5 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 4 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 6 - large eggs
- 3 cups canned pumpkin
- 1 cup water
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Step 11. Grease three 9x5x3-inch loaf pans

Step 22. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 33. Sift together dry ingredients; set aside

Step 44. In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar, and vanilla.
