This is the way I make it, it is a little sweeter and buttery!! Everyone loves it!!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups self rising flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 can 12 oz beer, any kind you like
  • 1/2 cup butter

How To Make my beer bread

  • Step 1
    in a large bowel mix flour, sugar.
  • Step 2
    pour in can of beer, mix until well blended the dough will pull away from sides of bowel
  • Step 3
    put into bread pan
  • Step 4
    melt cube of butter and pour over the top
  • Step 5
    bake in 350 degree preheated oven for one hour or until toothpick comes out clean
  • Step 6
    best served warm with butter, goes great with any dinner. it is quick and easy!
