MOTHER'S BANANA BREAD (SALLYE)
3 mediumripe bananas
2 Tbspoil (i use corn oil)
2/3 cgranulated sugar
1 tspbaking powder
1 tspbaking soda
1 cchopped nuts
How to Make MOTHER'S BANANA BREAD (SALLYE)
- Preheat oven to 325º
Chop nuts and set aside
Grease or lightly spray a 8" x 5" x 3" loaf pan.
- In large mixing bowl, mash bananas until no lumps remain. Be patient, this can take a few minutes.
Add unbeaten egg to bananas and mix well.
Beat in sugar, molasses and oil until well blended.
- Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt together.
Pour nuts into sifted flour to cover.
- Mix flour and nuts into mixture until well blended.
Pour into greased loaf pan
Cook in preheated 325º oven for 1 hour.
