My daughter Brittney made this recipe when she took a foods class in high school. She is now in college and I make it for her every time she comes home to visit. It's great for breakfast, brunches or anytime.

  • 2 can(s)
    grands buttermilk biscuits cut into quarters
  • 3/4 c
    melted butter
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • ·
    chopped nuts for topping (optional)

How to Make Monkey Bread


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl, combine white sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Cut each biscuit into quarters. Roll the biscuit quarters in the sugar/cinnamon mixture.
  3. Arrange the biscuits in a greased bundt pan.
  4. Melt the butter and brown sugar over med/low heat. Pour the mixture over the biscuits. Sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.
  5. Bake at 350 for approximately 1/2 hour.
  6. Cool 10 minutes before serving.
