My daughter Brittney made this recipe when she took a foods class in high school. She is now in college and I make it for her every time she comes home to visit. It's great for breakfast, brunches or anytime.

Ingredients For monkey bread

  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 2 can
    grands buttermilk biscuits cut into quarters
  • 3/4 c
    melted butter
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • chopped nuts for topping (optional)

How To Make monkey bread

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl, combine white sugar and cinnamon.

    Cut each biscuit into quarters. Roll the biscuit quarters in the sugar/cinnamon mixture.

    Arrange the biscuits in a greased bundt pan.

    Melt the butter and brown sugar over med/low heat. Pour the mixture over the biscuits. Sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.

    Bake at 350 for approximately 1/2 hour.
