Ever since i can remember these stcky buns hve been a huge part of our family's Christmas tradition. After stockings were opened and before we dove in to our presents I would sit dwn at the table with my 10 bros & sisters..Christmas Captain Crunch and these most awesome rolls..im so lucky to hve had such a great mom to pass dwn some of her memories frm her kitchen.
1Dissolve the yeast in the warm water. Add buttermilk , eggs, 2.5 cups flour, 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup suger, b powder, & salt.Stir in remaining flour. Knead for 5 min. Cover & let dough sit for 1/2 hour.
2Divide dough in half. Roll into 2 rectangles. Spread each half with 1 Tbs. soft butter. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar & 1 tsp. cin. Roll up both halves starting on wide sde. Seal with pinching . Cut each into 12 pieces.
3Coat 9in. pan or pie plate with 1/4 cup melted butter, 1/4 cup b. sugar, and pecans. Place slices in pans- let rise till double in size.
4Bake @ 350' for 30 min. immediately invert onto serving tray...
