My mom only made these once a year;I make them twice a year, freeze them to enjoy whenever I want a loaf of sweet bread. You'll need 6 1 pound coffe cans.

Ingredients
- 1 - can bakers joy
- 6 teaspoons cooking oil
- 6 - eggs
- 1 1/2 cups oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 - small cans of pumpkin
- 4 1/2 cups sugar
- 5 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 1/4 cups dates
- 2 1/4 cups chopped nuts

Step 1Preheat oven 350. Spray coffe cans with bakers joy and put 1 tsp. of oil in bottom of can(s). Mix: eggs, cups of oil,water, pumpkin, sugar.

Step 2Then mix in: flour, soda, salt, and cinnamon. Then add and mix dates and nuts. Fill the cans 1/2 way, until all of batter is used. Bake for 1 hour and 5 minutes.

Step 3Let cans cool for 1 hour. Remove from cans and let them cool competely.
