Had bananas and was tired of plain old banana bread.

Ingredients

  • 2 c
    mashed ripe bananas
  • 2/3 c
    butter
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 4 large
    eggs
  • 3 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    kosher salt
  • 1 c
    peanut butter
  • 1 c
    unsalted peanuts
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp
    cocoa, unsweetened

How to Make marbled peanut butter banana bread

Step-by-Step

  1. cream together butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time and beat well after each; add peanut butter and vanilla; beat well.
  2. mix together dry ingredients (except cocoa). add dry ingredients alternately with mashed banana beating well after each addition.
  3. reserve approx 1/4 to 1/2 cup of batter; set aside.
  4. stir in nuts and pour into 2 greased loaf pans. Add 1 tsp of cocoa to reserved batter and mix well. Drop by teaspoons onto batter in loaf pans and using a knife swirl thru.

    Bake 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until done.
