I got this recipe from cooks.com with minor adjustments. I love the maple syrup with the walnut.

Ingredients

  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1
    egg slightly beaten
  • 1/3 c
    sugar free maple syrup
  • 3/4 c
    buttermilk
  • 3 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 1 c
    chopped walnuts
  • ·
    optional 1/2 c raisins

How to Make Maple Syrup, Walnut and Raisin Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix 1st 4 ingredients.
  2. mix next 4 ingredients blend all
  3. stir in walnuts
  4. scrape into greased 8 1/2 inch loaf pan.
    bake at 350 in preheated oven for 50 minutes
  5. let bread cool turn out of pan and cool thoroughly
