How to Make Maple Nut Bread
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease loaf pan.
- Sift dry ingredients into bowl and then add milk, egg and maple flavoring. Mix only until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in nuts.
- Pour into greased pan and bake for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean from center.
- This bread has a very mild maple flavor. It is good for anytime, but having it for breakfast, slathered in butter and toasted in a skillet and served with a fresh
fruit cup is very tasty. Afternoon tea with tea-wonderful as well. I like to use
pure maple flavoring instead of just an extract, if available.
