linda's cinnamon rolls
(2 RATINGS)
I can remember the smell of cinnamon rolls coming from the kitchen. Mother passed away 19 years ago. I just found her recipe written in an old cookbook. I have made them almost every weekend. YUMMY!!

Allow to rise 1-2 hours. Turn out onto floured surface, knead about 3-5 minutes, til smooth. Roll out to 1/4" thick. Or your desired thickness, in a rectangle shape. Take another stick of butter, room temperature, smear all over the dough, to the edges. Sprinkle with cinnamon, then about 1/2 c. sugar. Roll up, cut into 1" or so.
