I got this recipe from my golf club.We do catering for morning teas and scones,jam and cream are always on the menu.

Ingredients For lemonade scones

  • 4 c
    self raising floour
  • 300 ml
  • 375 ml
    lemonade mix

How To Make lemonade scones

  • 1
    Sift flour into large bowl,add cream and lemonade.

    Mix lightly with a knife until it forms onto a ball.Turn onto floured board and pat til it is about 2.5cm high.

    Cut into rounds and place on greased baking tray,fairly close together. Bake in hot oven for 10mins or until golden brown.

    Variations are Savoury scones-add grated cheese,chopped chives and bacon to taste and add a pinch of ceyenne pepper,before adding cream and lemonade.
