lemon poppy seed bread with glaze
A long time ago I had some lemon poppy seed bread at our church and got the recipe from an elderly lady named Edna. I lost that recipe! I have been dreaming of it for a long time and when I went to play cards the hostess served a bread that was so very similar. It took a long time to get the recipe but I finally did; and here it is! I hope you will try it and it will become a favorite at your house, too.
