lemon poppy seed bread
I found this recipe in a cookbook that I picked up years ago from Bronner's (a store labeling itself as "the World's Largest Christmas Store"). It's easy and delectable. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 box lemon cake mix
- 1 package instant lemon pudding
- 1/4 cup poppy seeds
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
- 4 - eggs
- 1 cup boiling water
- GLAZE
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 - lemon
How To Make lemon poppy seed bread

Step 1Mix together the cake mix, pudding, poppy seeds, and oil. Add eggs one at a time and beat well. Mix water into batter a little at a time. Pour into a greased and wax paper-lined loaf pan. Bake at 350* for 35 - 40 minutes. Also can be made into muffins, baking until toothpick comes out clean. Optional glaze: boil sugar and juice from lemon until sugar is dissolved. Pour over cooled bread.
