Baste with egg wash then cut a cross on the top with a sharp knife. Bake for 1 1/2 hours. Allow to cool and wrap in plastic wrap this goes stale quickly. A great addition to the final product is Guinness Butter...2 sticks of room temp butter 3 oz of Guinness 3 tablespoons honey beat in mixer. Served on this bread is very yummy!
