Ingredients

  • 4 c
    flour, sifted
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1 c
    milk or half & half
  • 1
    egg
  • 3/4 c
    raisins

How to Make Irish Soda Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease a round Pyrex bowl.
  2. Mix all dry ingredients and add raisins. Mix in egg, sour cream and milk. (If dry, add a little more milk.)
  3. Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
