whole wheat flour
2.5 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
2.5 c
1/2 c
vegetable oil
eggs, beaten
2 Tbsp

How to Make Honey Cornbread


  • 1Combine first 5 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; set aside.
  • 2Combine buttermilk, oil, eggs, and honey; add to dry ingredients, mixing well.
  • 3Pour batter into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.
  • 4Bake at 425 for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 5Cut into 2 inch squares to serve. Yield: about 2 dozen squares.
