Ingredients
- 2.5 cups yellow cornmeal
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 2.5 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2.5 cups buttermilk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 2 tablespoons honey
How To Make honey cornbread

Step 1Combine first 5 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; set aside.

Step 2Combine buttermilk, oil, eggs, and honey; add to dry ingredients, mixing well.

Step 3Pour batter into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.

Step 4Bake at 425 for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 5Cut into 2 inch squares to serve. Yield: about 2 dozen squares.
