Got this recipe out of one of my Pioneer Cookbooks. Everyone really enjoys it.

    yellow cake mix
  • 1 box
    (small) instant pistachio pudding
  • 4
  • 1/4 c
  • 1/8 c
  • 1 c
    maraschino cherries, chopped and drained
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1/2 c
    nuts, chopped

How to Make Holiday Pistachio Bread


  1. Combine all ingredients well with a spoon. Grease two loaf pans. Mix 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon to taste. Sprinkle over dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool; wrap in foil.
