- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 8 1/2 ounces can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup mashed banana
- 1/3 cup orange juice

How To Make hawaiian nut bread
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a loaf pan.
-
Step 2In a bowl, sift dry ingredients together and set aside. In a separate bowl, combine pineapple, banana and orange juice and set aside.
-
Step 3In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add a small amount of the flour mixture alternately with the fruit mixture, mixing only enough to moisten the flour.
-
Step 4Stir in the nuts and pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 1 hour 15 minutes. Note: the bread is much better after a day or two.
