How to Make Harvest Apple french toast
- First fry your bacon however you prefer it, set aside, keep warm. Save bacon grease
- Mix egg, milk, vanilla, cinnamon together well. Cut french bread thick 1 inch -2 inches, dip into egg mixture, the thicker the bread the longer you soak it. Fry in the bacon grease, add a little margarine if not enough bacon grease.
- While french toast is cooking put the butter into a frying pan, slice apples as if for apple pie, start frying on low to medium heat until tender, add sugar, stir until it melts and looks golden.
- Place French toast onto plate , Pour over a couple spoonfuls of the apple sauce, however much you want, place bacon beside it and serve.
