I make this bread at the end of the summer season when the small green tomatoes are still on the vine. All of my my family loves this bread. Not real, real, sweet.

Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 2 cups chopped green tomatoes
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup vegetable oil
How To Make green tomato bread

Step 1Cream together oil, eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients - add to egg mixture. Combine well. Add tomatoes, raisins and nuts.

Step 2Bake 1 hour. 350 degrees. Makes 2 loaves.
